Truth about Freedom
Ok, let’s talk about Freedom. Is there such a thing as freedom? I hate to tell you but no there is not. Freedom is an illusion. Think about it, is there anything that is ever free? Are you really free to do as you please? Do you really have freedom of speech? Do you really have freedom of any kind? Example of misconception of freedom: Living on welfare is free to the person living on welfare, often referred to as freeloaders. Truth is they have to pay the price of living by the rules of welfare. They have to make less than a certain amount of money. They only can buy certain things with food stamps (no prepared food: McDonalds, restaurants, etc...). They have to pay the price of being looked down upon by society, even classified as less than others. They are forced to live in less than favorable conditions. Not all of them made a choice to live like this, another misconception. Ok, another example: You see ads all over the internet offering free phones, vacations and you name it. It may not cost you for the item itself but it costs the company that makes the item. It costs the company that promotes the item. It costs you often enough indirectly through trying or purchasing something else. It also costs you your private information, as well as sometimes the private information of your friends and family.
Ok, so let’s answer the questions I posed to you earlier: Are you really free to do as you please?
Answer: No that would be anarchy and even then there are costs but that is another topic. If you do any number of things you are breaking laws which either cost you money, time, or both! Do you really have freedom of speech?
Answer: No you can say what you like but once again there are laws that govern what you can say, how you can say it and where you can say it. Do you really have freedom of any kind?
Answer: No, no matter what you do, say, think, eat etc...
There is a cost remember costs are not just financial. I challenge you to just think about this the next time you see the word free or the next time you hear someone talking about freedom. It does not exist and never has.

I learned of this information through reason and deduction of thought. If you look around you will find similar explanations of freedom, I am sure but they will probaly have some other message(propaganda) associated with them.
Live life and enjoy it. Just remember the cost of your actions and make wise decisions.
